To help our members ensure they are compliant\, the Chamber is going to host an informational seminar on July 21 from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the chamber office. \n\nExempt vs. Non-Exempt Employees:  Is Your Business Ready for the NEW FLSA Overtime Rules?\n\nEmployers have until December 1\, 2016 to comply with the new Fair Labor Standards Act exemptions.   Is your business ready?  Join Melanie M. Dunajeski and Shelbie J. Byers of Drewry Simmons Vornehm\, LLP as they explain the nuances of the new overtime exemption regulations.  The Department of Labor estimates 4.2 million workers will be affected by the new regulations   chances are employees in your business will be some of these workers.
