2012 Cobe Cup

103rd Anniversary Celebration! This car cruise ?re-races? the tire tracks of the 1909 Cobe Cup Race which is believed to be Indiana?s first major car race, pre-dating the Indianapolis 500.

Pre-1985 era cars, trucks and motorcycles and all year?s Corvettes are allowed. There will be refreshments, music and door prizes at the Fairgrounds. The cruise will begin at 1 p.m. and travel through Cedar Lake, and continue to Lowell, heading east to Buckley Homestead County Park. The cruise will then head back through downtown Lowell, where it will conclude at the American Legion Post 101 on East Commercial Avenue at approximately 2:00 p.m. Trophies will be awarded and participants can enjoy food and music until 4:00 p.m.
